2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VRMCheck (vrmcheck.uk), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

3. What VRMCheck Provides

VRMCheck provides vehicle history information based on data sourced from:

• DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) — official UK vehicle registration data
• DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) — official MOT history data
• Experian — vehicle finance, write-off, stolen vehicle, keeper history and plate history

We provide two service tiers:

• Free Check — basic DVLA registration data, tax status, and MOT summary
• Full Report — comprehensive history including MOT test detail, mileage timeline, finance check, write-off status, keeper history and stolen vehicle check. A live market valuation is available as an optional £1.40 add-on.

4. Accuracy of Information

VRMCheck sources data directly from official UK Government APIs and licensed data providers. We take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

VRMCheck reports are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee of a vehicle's condition, history, or value. You should not rely solely on a VRMCheck report when making a purchase decision. We strongly recommend a physical inspection by a qualified mechanic.

COLLINGHAMCO LTD accepts no liability for decisions made based on information provided through VRMCheck.

5. Not Affiliated with DVLA or DVSA

VRMCheck is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of DVLA, DVSA, or any UK Government department. Official government vehicle checks are available directly at gov.uk.

6. Payments

Full Reports are charged at the price displayed at the time of purchase. All prices include VAT where applicable.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. COLLINGHAMCO LTD does not store your card details.

All sales are final. Due to the instant digital nature of vehicle reports, we do not offer refunds once a report has been generated and delivered. If you experience a technical issue preventing delivery, contact us at hello@vrmcheck.uk within 48 hours.

7. Data Guarantee

Where a Full Report includes a Finance Data Guarantee, this guarantee is provided directly by Experian and is subject to Experian's own terms and conditions, available at experian.co.uk/data-guarantee. By purchasing a report with this guarantee, you agree to be bound by Experian's guarantee terms in addition to these Terms of Service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use VRMCheck for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute our data
• Use automated tools to query our service without prior written consent
• Resell or commercially exploit reports without a B2B trade agreement

9. Intellectual Property

All content on vrmcheck.uk — including design, copy, code, and branding — is the property of COLLINGHAMCO LTD unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Vehicle data is sourced from third-party providers and remains subject to their respective intellectual property rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, COLLINGHAMCO LTD shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from use of VRMCheck
• Decisions made based on report data
• Data inaccuracies originating from DVLA, DVSA, or third-party providers
• Any loss arising from service interruptions or technical issues

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report in question.

11. Privacy

Your use of VRMCheck is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at vrmcheck.uk/privacy. By using our service, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described therein.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use of VRMCheck after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
